Want to light up your Steam Deck OLED from within while also improving cooling? Then our RGB backplate is just what you need. Here's everything you need to know:

RGB light for the Steam Deck OLED
The integrated RGB lighting creates cool effects and lets your deck glow in different colors. The transparent casing also lets you take a look at the innards of your Steam Deck. -
Improved cooling
Thanks to the ventilation slots, thermally conductive silicone paste, and an aluminum cooling plate, heat is dissipated more efficiently. So you can keep a cool head even during heated games. -
Adjustable height and robust buttons
The backplate set comes in different heights (standard, tall, and flat) so you can customize the deck to your liking. The buttons are particularly durable and non-slip. -
Built-in battery with Type-C charging function
The 150 mAh battery keeps the RGB lights running for between 2 and 5 hours, depending on the mode. And don't worry: You can also charge it via USB-C while gaming. -
Silicone grips included
For a comfortable grip and even illumination, two silicone grips are included—one for each side. The grips don't block the ventilation opening and help prevent the deck from slipping out of your hands.
Important instructions
- The transparent back cover is not for the inexperienced: If you have no experience disassembling your Steam Deck, watch the relevant YouTube videos beforehand or get help from professionals.
- If the device breaks due to incorrect installation, the risk is yours.
- In some cases, the RGB backplate may not light up upon delivery because the battery is empty. Simply charge it briefly, and you're ready to go.
- For the OLED backplate, you'll need Torx CM1.6×5mm screws and a Torx screwdriver head. You'll find this in the screwdriver handle when you open the back cover.
