- Easy updates: Instead of tediously unpacking addons manually into the WoW folder, the app does it for you.

Preparations & Requirements

- The AppImage file won't start: Make sure the file is executable. In your file manager (Dolphin), right-click the AppImage file > Properties > Permissions and check the box next to "Is executable". Also, check that you have indeed forced a Proton version in Steam.
- CurseForge can't find the WoW folder: This often happens when the paths are hidden by Proton. Use the manual search in CurseForge and patiently click through the folder structure. Sometimes it also helps to run the "Scan and Repair" function in Battle.net so that the paths are re-registered.
- Performance issues or lag: CurseForge running in the background can consume resources. Close the app after updating your addons before launching WoW. Also, make sure your SteamOS is up to date.
